What is the Spotlight on Service?
The Spotlight on Service Program was created to educate Cali-Nev-Ha Key Clubbers about the Key Club International as well as Cali-Nev-Ha Service Initiatives and encourage active participation with/for the organizations and initiatives. A service Initiative is assigned each month in which clubs should focus a project or two on supporting the initiative.
Clubs are encouraged to submit service project ideas/reflections by completing this Spotlight on Service Submission Form. The form is due by the 5th of each month for the previous month. If you are planning on submitting pictures, please send them to [email protected]. Please remember that to send action pictures of members doing service and not posing.
Project submissions should be PROJECTS and not service opportunities. A reflection of helping out at a 5K run is considered a service opportunity. A reflection of actually creating a community 5K run is considered a service project.
Upon submission for a certain focus, the submitted service project is not required to be of that month's focus as long as it is one of the enlisted. Every month the district will showcase projects from the previous month in the district newsletter. You may receive recognition and inspire others with your creative project ideas.
